Blackstone home sales show wide gap between disclosed and undisclosed prices in late-summer period
Worcester County Registry of Deeds records show nine Blackstone property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12. Only two listed a disclosed sale price: $708,750 for a Blackstone property sold by Big Z Realty LLC to Operative Bank on Aug. 18, and $621,150 for 89 Elm St., sold by Steven and Tracy Labonte to NAF Cash LLC on Aug. 17. The median of those two disclosed sales was $664,950. The other seven transfers, including a Fox Run Road condominium unit and properties on Milk, Montcalm, Lloyd, Blackstone, Mendon and Edgewater streets, did not disclose a price. Several transfers involved banks or mortgage-related entities as buyer or seller.
