Blackstone Sees 11 Deed Transfers in August, but Just Two Reveal a Price
Blackstone recorded 11 property deed transfers between July 31 and August 29, but only two disclosed a sale price: $724,375 for 53 Farm St. and $76,191 for 170 Lakeshore Dr., yielding a median of $400,283 from those two figures. Blackstone Street saw two transfers, at 197 and 340 Blackstone St., neither with a disclosed price; the 340 Blackstone St. deed moved the property within the Melvin family into a trust. Six of the 11 deeds involved mortgage-servicing or banking entities such as Newrez LLC, Wells Fargo Bank NA and Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc. as buyer or seller. With price data available for only 2 of 11 transfers, the month's records don't support firm conclusions about market tone.
