Board of Selectmen approves National Grid utility pole on Mendon Street.

Blackstone Selectmen approve National Grid utility pole on Mendon Street near Lincoln and Milk Streets. The Board voted unanimously to allow the pole installation to support equipment reducing power outages. In separate action, the Board voted 4 to 1 to accept $12,500 in Semi-Quincentennial donations from Delta 420 LLC and Green Choice Dispensaries LLC, with Selectman Gino Olaes dissenting.

The Board also unanimously backed a federal funding request for Bridge Street Bridge rehabilitation coordinated with the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce.
