Blackstone Council on Aging reviewed spring activities and summer programming. Director Tiziana Milano reported April's Birthday Bash drew 157 unduplicated attendees and three new members, with a Baked Potato Bar and entertainment by Kim Oats; the Tall Ships trip sold out, and the October 6 New Hampshire Turkey Train excursion is open to residents and non-residents over 21. April transportation totaled 170 medical and 218 non-medical trips.
The council acknowledged the May 1 departure of driver Eddie and voted to pursue combining volunteer recognition across town organizations; annual board reorganization and elections are scheduled for the June meeting.
