Blackstone Council on Aging approves prior minutes and reviews strong year-end activity. Chair Jay DiLibero and Director Tiziana Milano reported successful holiday programming including a party at Galliford's Tavern and a community concert celebration, along with the launch of a new Tri-Valley Congregate Lunch Program partnership. The 2025 transportation program delivered 5,958 total trips despite a five percent ridership decline and 315 cancellations.
The department ended the year fully staffed with new outreach coordinator Donna providing assistance with Fuel Assistance and SNAP benefits. Upcoming trips include Worcester Art Museum on January 28 for seventeen dollars per senior.
