BLACKSTONE — Parks and Recreation approves six field-use permits for spring and summer leagues. The commission granted permits to men's softball ($210 through September 30), Roosevelt Little League baseball and softball with concession stand fee waived, Blackstone Middle Youth Soccer Organization at Goulet through June 21 plus a July soccer camp, Swishville Hoops basketball ($160 tentative), and Blackstone Middle School baseball and softball. Separately, commissioners approved a $3,932 Ultiplay estimate for rubber surfacing at Turbesi Park and authorized $600 monthly for portapotties and $1,500 for stump removal.
