Parks and Recreation Commission approves Roosevelt playground rubber surface project.

BLACKSTONE — Parks and Recreation Commission approves $3,932 Ultiplay rubber surface at Roosevelt. Chaired by Celeste Langlois, the commission unanimously backed the estimate for pathway-to-sunshade-bench installation and Turbesi swing-set touch-ups. The board also approved $300 for myFM coverage of Blackstone Derby Days and endorsed Sara Peters' coordination of an Easter Egg Hunt.

Tom Bik of Metacomet Land Trust presented a plan to manage 37 acres of town property behind the AT&T tower, with the commission noting the need for a town hunting and liability policy.
