BLACKSTONE — Planning Board authorizes drainage investigation for flooded Blackstone Street properties. Resident Peter Blaise presented photos of water trespass affecting his property at 57 Blackstone Street and a neighbor's property at 55 Blackstone Street, blaming a 30-year-old municipal drainage system that can no longer handle stormwater volume. The board voted unanimously to authorize consultant Gino Carlucci to investigate topography and catch basin documentation and to send formal notice to the Board of Selectmen, Department of Public Works, Conservation Commission, and Town Administrator.
The board also continued the site plan review for a proposed 10,000-square-foot duplex and 65,000-square-foot 16-unit apartment complex at Parcel 10-153 Butler Street, voting unanimously to request all required documents from GDS Architect & Interiors before the applicant decides whether to amend or file a new application.
