Planning Board approves ADU bylaw language and continues Butler Street site review.

Blackstone Planning Board approves accessory dwelling unit bylaw amendments with no substantive changes. The board voted 5-0 to sign ADU documents and close the public hearing, with alternate Joe Emidy abstaining. In a separate 4-0 vote, the board directed the Board of Selectmen and Town Administrator to require biweekly site inspections at the Kimball Sand earth removal operation at 202 Elm Street under Chapter 109-3 of town bylaws.

The applicant seeks to expand gravel mining to 44 acres. The board also approved off-street parking signage at 19 Mendon Street for a new medical clinic and residence, with a six-month review scheduled. The Butler Street site plan for 23-26 Butler Street continued to May.
