Board of Assessors approves abatements, denies three property-tax relief requests.

BLACKSTONE — Board of Assessors approves 11 property-tax abatements in executive session. Chairman Bob Kluchevitz and members Joseph Morin, Nicole Desmeule, and Marcus Milano voted unanimously to grant relief to owners including Sally Nelson (19 Ives Street), John Wheeler (50 Fairway Lane), and Patricia Blais (16-18 Prospect Street). The board unanimously denied abatements for Jeffrey Maloney (5 Devlin Circle), Paula Fisher and David Wormley (3 Fairway Lane), and Heather Korenschik (36 Summer Street).

All routine motions to approve vouchers and motor-vehicle and property abatements posted since March 4 passed without dissent.
